Miss B pursued a claim in relation to a failure to recognise that her spinal implant had become displaced and was causing neurological symptoms for which she should have been offered urgent remedial surgery.  As a result she was left with a permanent neurological injury resulting in weakness and pain in her left leg, restricted mobility and disability.   Breach of duty was admitted by the Defendant but causation denied.

Court proceedings were issued and following meetings of the experts, the parties met at a round table meeting and the claim settled for £224,221.28.
